01 — Why projects specify Vanora

Built for the Gulf of Thailand, not for a showroom.

Most window catalogues are written for a European façade. Thailand asks different questions: 1,400 mm of rain in four months, UV that fades a powder coat in three years, salt in the air on every coastal project, and a client who wants the house quiet at 10 p.m. with the air-conditioning on.

We have been supplying Thai villas, hotels and housing projects since 2016. That work shaped the details you will find on every series: stepped drainage that exits below the track, EPDM rather than PVC gaskets, stainless hardware on anything within reach of the sea, and glass options that are quoted honestly against the orientation of the room.

  • Climate-first specification. Every series is configured for driven rain, direct sun and coastal corrosion — not adapted from a temperate product.
  • One factory, one tolerance. Profiles are cut, punched and assembled in the same plant that extrudes and finishes them.
  • Documents that pass tender review. Test reports, section drawings, glass certificates and HS classification supplied as a package.
  • Support after the container lands. Installation guides, video walk-throughs and a named contact for the life of the warranty.

02 — The four problems we design against

Rain, heat, noise, salt. In that order.

Thailand does not have a generic "hot climate". It has a monsoon season, a hot season, dense traffic corridors and 2,800 km of coastline — and each one attacks a window differently.

Driven rain

Water is pushed sideways, not down. Stepped drainage, pressure-equalised chambers and three sealing lines move it out of the frame before it reaches the inner gasket.

Solar heat gain

West-facing rooms overheat from 3 p.m. A thermal break, Low-E glazing and a warm-edge spacer reduce the heat that reaches the room instead of fighting it with a larger air-conditioner.

Traffic noise

Traffic noise arrives through glass, gaps and the frame. We match glazing build, sealing lines and sash weight to the noise source, and quote an acoustic class rather than a promise.

Coastal corrosion

Within 500 m of the sea, salt mist attacks hinges, screws and cut edges first. We specify 304/316 stainless internals, sealed cut edges and marine-grade coating on coastal projects.

03 — Flagship series

Three windows that cover most Thai projects.

A flagship system window, a volume casement and a wide-opening slider. Most of our Thai work is a combination of these three.

04 — Engineering, stated plainly

The numbers behind the sales sheet.

Every series is tested to GB/T 7106 (wind load, water tightness, air tightness) and classified under GB/T 8484 for thermal performance and GB/T 8485 for acoustics. The values below are the classification for the YFG90 with standard 5+20A+5 insulated glass — the same configuration we quote unless a project specifies otherwise.

Wind load Class 9 · 5.0 kPa
Water tightness Class 6 · 700 Pa
Air tightness Class 6 · 1.5 m³/(m·h)
Acoustic Class 5 · 35 dB
Thermal Class 6 · 2.0 W/(m²·K)

Performance is configuration-dependent. Glass build, sash size, installation quality and exposure all change the result; we quote values for the exact build you order.

07 — How we work

From a WhatsApp photo to a container.

01

Enquiry & review

Send drawings, a window schedule or photos with dimensions. We come back with a configuration proposal and an indicative price per square metre.

02

Sample & approval

For projects above 100 m² we produce a sample corner or a full-size mock-up panel for approval before production.

03

Production

15–20 days from deposit and approved shop drawings. Glass, hardware and profiles are cut to the same schedule; every unit is labelled by opening.

04

Inspection & packing

Water test, dimensional check and photo report per crate. Corner protectors, foam, plywood crating and desiccant for sea freight.

05

Shipping & installation

FOB Shenzhen/Guangzhou, CIF Laem Chabang or DDP door-to-door. Installation guides, video walk-throughs and optional supervisor visits.

“We had quotes 20% cheaper. Then we compared the glass build, the drainage detail and what happens when a roller fails in year four. Vanora was the only supplier who sent section drawings before we asked.”

— Procurement manager · residential developer, Bangkok

“The 86 bathrooms were measured in two days and arrived in stack order. Our installers finished a floor a day instead of waiting on missing panels.”

— Project director · condominium refurbishment, Pattaya
08 — Certificates & testing

Paperwork that survives due diligence.

Certificates are only useful if they match the product on the truck. Ours are issued against the same profile family and glass build we ship.

09 — Before you enquire

Questions we are asked every week.

One set for a sample, 50 m² for project pricing. Below 50 m² we quote ex-works with consolidated shipping — it is usually cheaper than a dedicated LCL.

15–20 days production after deposit and approved shop drawings, plus 7–12 days sea freight to Laem Chabang and 3–5 days customs and delivery. A typical villa order lands in Thailand 30–40 days after confirmation.

Yes. We ship FOB Shenzhen or Guangzhou, CIF Laem Chabang, or DDP to your site. For DDP we handle export declaration, freight, Thai import duty and VAT, and delivery; you receive one landed price. Complete windows are classified under HS 7610.10 and we prepare the description, BOM and packing list to match.

We supply and supervise. Our engineers provide setting-out drawings, an installation manual and video walk-throughs, and can attend site for the first installation or a mock-up. For projects above 300 m² we can arrange an installation partner in Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya and Chiang Mai.

Five years on profiles, finish and hardware under normal residential use, and ten years on the glass seal against failure of the insulated unit. Warranty terms are issued with the order confirmation, and we hold spare sashes, gaskets and rollers for the warranty period.

Yes. Powder coating is matched to RAL or to a physical sample; wood-grain sublimation and anodised finishes are also available. Colour samples are sent before production for approval.

Usually a Low-E insulated unit — 6+12A+6 Low-E, or 6 mm Low-E laminated where noise or safety matters. Orientation, shading and ceiling height change the answer, so we ask for the room and the facing before quoting a build.

Next step

Send the schedule. We will send back a number you can build on.

WhatsApp a photo with dimensions, or send drawings and a window schedule. You will get a configuration proposal, a per-square-metre price and a delivery date — usually within 12 working hours.
